Appointment information
In order to schedule an appointment, we require a referral from your primary care provider. Please reach out to your doctor and have them fax a referral to (864) 383-5093.
Once we have received the referral we will reach out to complete an intake.
Initial Consultation
The initial consultation with our provider is typically the longest and most thorough visit as we dive deep into medical history, medication history, social history that is pertinent to your mental health journey, and review of records from your previous provider, if applicable. You will be able to discuss with the PMHNP your concerns and the symptoms that you are experiencing that encouraged you to seek the help of our office. During this appointment you may be presented with questionnaires that will help the provider get a better understanding to begin to diagnose the symptoms that you are presenting with. By getting this information, we can better treat each patient. (1 hour visit)
Follow up/Medication Managment Visits
Follow up visits are used to manage and adjust medications as needed, discuss any new changes, and ensure that patients are benefiting from the treatment plan. During these visits, we will continue to look deeper into the diagnosis so that the patient has a better understanding of their diagnosis and provide therapy as needed. (30 min visit)
